After the fire that destroyed Notre Dame de Paris on Monday 15 April, plans of reconstruction are underway with the French government facilitating donations.

Tax reduction

For those giving donations up to 1000€ they will have a tax exemption of 75 percent, above 1000€ they will have 66 percent.

ledges worth around 700 million euros (ksh79 billion) have already been made from French billionaires and businesses to restore the Gothic masterpiece.

“We will rebuild the cathedral even more beautifully and I want it to be finished within five years,” Macron said from the Elysee Palace. “And we can do it.”
